Helix - Crafts

When I suggested a competition to win a day crafting with me back in October last year I never thought how quickly it would come around - I didn’t get time to get excited until the week before. On the competition day 5 crafters came along for the day. We made Stationery boxes and gossiped all day long.

It made a great change for me because I never get a chance to sit and craft and gossip with fellow crafters. We did have the odd interruption from Annie my Black Labrador puppy who kept sneaking in under the table to see what crafting goodies she could run off with and stash in her bed. She had already been brought inside for the day as she was systematically emptying the boiler room out onto the lawn. I have to keep my craft room doors locked when I am not around, she loves a good rummage in a cupboard and often saunters out of the room with glitter on her nose and a piece of half chewed paper between her teeth.
