What a week!
What a week this has been! Here in deepest Derbyshire the snow has been quite thick; I braved the snow in my husband’s 4×4 to get over to Peterborough, as nothing stops for live TV! Not even 4-foot of snow. We then had the daunting task of getting over to Manchester later in the week in the Sprinter van for the Stitch and Creative Crafts Show at Manchester Central, whilst Nancy Watts who was demonstrating for us wadded through the snow from Peterborough to meet us there.
It was like “The Day After Tomorrow”! But I have to say the spirit of the shoppers was phenomenal, the show was packed with avid crafters all on the lookout for new ideas. My workshops were overbooked and we had the greatest time, meeting new and old crafters alike.
Let’s hope the snow holds off long enough for us to get to the NEC in Birmingham this weekend for Stitches, the trade show!
